GENERAL INFORMATION AND CONDITIONS UNDER WHICH RESERVATIONS ARE ACCEPTED
RIGHT OF ADMISSION
Right of admission to the resort is reserved by the owner and entrance can be refused, or occupancy terminated without reason being provided.
ANIMALS
Dogs and cats are not allowed
SERVANTS
Servants are not allowed.
DAY VISITORS
Visitors are required to pay an entrance fee at reception prior to entering the resort. Residents must accept responsibility for the behaviour of their visitors. Visitor vehicles are not allowed into the resort.
RESERVATION POLICY AND MONITORY ARRANGEMENTS MINIMUM RESERVATION PERIODS
December/January school holidays – 15 Nights
RESERVATIONS
A provisional reservation will only become a firm booking upon the receipt of the Reservation Form and appropriate deposit. Reservations will be confirmed in writing by mail.
DEPOSITS
Deposits are not refundable unless the following conditions are met, in which event 80% only will be refunded. The cancellation notice, in writing, must reach us at least 6 weeks prior to date of arrival. Cancellation on shorter notice will only be accepted in the event of serious illness or death and only upon receipt of written proof. A refund in the event of illness will only be made once a substitute for the full reservation period is found.
RENTAL
Rental will be charged for the full reservation period and amendments to original dates will only be accepted if confirmed in writing by us. The balance of rental is due and payable in advance, upon arrival in cash, by travellers cheques or bank guaranteed cheque. Credit cards are not accepted. Refunds for late arrival or early departure will not be made.
OCCUPATION AND RENTAL CONDITION OCCUPATIONS
During school holidays sites are available for occupation between 10h00 and sunset. Occupation after sunset is not allowed due to the disturbance it causes. Sites are to be vacated by 10h00 on day of departure. Sites are allocated with reference to the information provided on the Reservation Form@ and due to the terraced nature of the park, amendment cannot be considered unless accepted by us in writing. Only one family per site is permitted. Maximum of 8 persons per site is allowed.
LATE ARRIVAL
Accommodation will be re-let 24 hours after date of arrival unless notice of late arrival is received.
SUBSTITUTION
Only the person in whose name and the number for whom the reservation was made will be allowed to occupy the site. Should additional persons be allowed at our discretion they will be charged for at double the rate applicable to additional persons as appearing on the tariff of charges.
VEHICLES
Only one motor vehicle, without exception, will be allowed per site during December/January and March/April school holidays. ? Parking for extra vehicles is available adjoining the resort. Use of motor cycles and bicycles in the resort is not allowed.
CARAVANS AND TENTS
Occupation of caravan sites during school holidays is restricted to motor homes, caravans and tents. Only one tent per tent site is allowed unless arranged differently.
GROUND SHEETS
To avoid permanent damage to grass on caravan sites only open weave type ground sheets, with apertures large enough to allow sufficient air and light to penetrate are acceptable. Standard ground sheets as supplied by caravan manufacturers do not comply.
GENERAL BRAAI FACILITIES
Braai facilities are not provided on the sites and visitors are required to provide their own portable braais, as open campfires made on the ground are not permitted. There is a communal braai area in the park.
NOISE
We pride ourselves on the peaceful nature of the park and we request that everyone makes a contribution by paying particular attention to volumes of radios and television sets in order that these do not disturb others. No music to be played from vehicles.
PERSONS
Where reference is made to number of persons, children are ages 2 – 21, as long as they are dependents.
THE AIM OF THESE RULES AND REGULATIONS IS TO ENSURE THAT EVERYONE WILL HAVE A MOST ENJOYABLE HOLIDAY AND WE TRUST THAT THEY WILL BE ACCEPTED IN THIS SPIRIT AND THAT EACH AND EVERYONE WILL CO-OPERATE
